Kaya's Garden Bridal Portraits

| Burgwin-Wright House and Gardens, historic downtown Wilmington, NC |

This stunning bride, Kaya, married the love of her life yesterday evening, so it's time to for me to brag about the amazing afternoon we had for her bridal portraits at the Burgwin-Wright house + gardens. This historic downtown Wilmington, NC venue offers such a variety of backdrops— a wide covered porch, a terrace, an orchard, a parterre garden, koi ponds, and more and Kaya thrived and even GLOWED in its natural beauty. Built in 1770, the Burgwin-Wright House is the only structure from the colonial era in Wilmington that is open to the public. Kaya wanted to do photos downtown because her husband, Justin and her had their first date down there, then they had their engagement portraits and now wedding downtown so it made sense for her to keep this tradition going.

Kaya's long veil enveloped her daintily-flowered gown and with her lightly tussled hair and a dab of lipstick, she had that look of Southern glamour. So happy for this sweet person to have found her soulmate. I can't wait to share her wedding day collection of sneak peeks soon... In the meantime, be sure to grab a tissue, you're sure to drool over this collection featuring Kaya's bridal portraits!
