The sexiest micro wedding happened in Wilmington, NC this past weekend and I am proud to say that I was there for it. Anna and Adam hit the photographer trifecta: madly in love, genuine and insanely gorgeous. It was quite a joy to capture them in this new stage of life. I'm so thankful for Meaghan at Salt Harbor Designs for mentioning my name to these sweethearts as that led to this special day together. Anna and Adam got engaged a few months ago and decided on a short engagement because as we've seen with a world-wide pandemic, life is short. Why wait? So with the help of some amazing wedding vendors, family and friends, they pulled off an epic wedding in the heart of downtown historic Wilmington, NC. The ceremony and reception took place at The Atrium by Ligon Flynn, a venue that is an exquisite blend of something old and something new and was just the start of the many things Anna and Adam did right. The perfect day started out with Anna getting dolled up by Sara at Melissa Kinnamon Hair Studio and then her slipping into the most pristine gown by Anne Barge. Once Adam and Anna shared a first look prior to the ceremony, we knew that all the nerves had subsided and they were ready to make it official! With a custom chuppah by White Birch Rentals and florals by Salt Harbor Designs, and poetic love songs by Dockside Strings, the stage was perfectly set for Anna and Adam. This wedding only had seventeen guests, all of which, were immediate family, but they had many, many loved ones watching virtually thanks to Sydney with What Sydney Sees helping with livestream video coverage. Following their interfaith ceremony of Christian and Jewish traditions led by Anna's father, they celebrated with some fancy champagne and snacked on a scrumptious display of eats by Spoonfed Kitchen, a local and popular restaurant in town. And we can't forget the sweet aftermath with a classy cake from Apple Annie's Bake Shop. As if that wasn't all magical enough, Anna and Adam were able to pop over to the Cape Fear River waterfront and bask in a sunset glow as they exchanged some of their first kisses as husband and wife. It sure was a dream y'all. I'm telling you. Now will someone copy them, so I can do it all over again? Here's a handful of sneak peeks that only show a portion of how perfect Saturday, October 17th was. Couldn't even get through all the raw footage because of the unusual overload of photos I took, so I know there's more magic to come. Yes, she hand glued the butterflies on there and Oh. My. God. I am in love with her talent! Someone tell her to make a career out of stationary design.
