So it's not often when I get a behind-the-scenes shot, but when I do, I cherish it because it helps me see how I can improve. Yes that's right, I said improve—admitting I'm not a perfect photographer and that there is always room to grow. For example, when I look at the above scene, I think, "Hmmm, I should've taken them off the cross a little bit so that we could see more of the beautiful cross in the background." Perspective is everything and can make a photo pop that much more. I do love that I went up close and personal on this family shot below because it's more intimate and you feel the colors from the clothing, city skyline, flowers and lime green grass. I also like offering these photos as a chance for you to see that I exist, that I might not be the most active social media user but I work hard in the background to give you the best I can give.
