Charlotte is an AMAZING place to be in your twenties... It is hands down the friendliest place I've ever lived. Everyone here is mostly not from here—we're all immigrants and Charlotte is the younger sister of NYC. Once in a blue moon I'll run into a true Charlottian however. About three weekends ago, I went bowling with some friends and met up with a college room mate, Karley. She brought along a girl she had met that night at a party, and her name was Julia Dixon. Julia and I got to talking and I learned that she owned a clothing company called La Señorita Jolie with her sister and they were in dire need of a photographer after their last one recently retired. Coincidences don't exist to me— I believe that God has a plan. God wanted me to meet Julia and her sister Jen. Fast forward a few weeks and we've already done two shoots together. I wrote a blog post that was just launched on their new website, detailing the lives of these two women. You HAVE to check it out. Women entrepreneurs deserve a round of applause. While you're at it, go shopping too.
