Meet my family. I'm so proud to share them with you.
I have a whole new love for family photography since we have had our little girl, Peyton, because I now know how hard it is to sit still long enough to get these moments captured. I blinked and we now have an 18 month old and I hadn’t taken a professional photo of her since her first birthday……. so needless to say... I'm extremely grateful to Syd for being adventurous, hopping on our boat and climbing into our tower for these because our boat is our special place.
So here’s your reminder to make the time. Make the time and get someone else to take your picture. Don't make excuses, it took us almost 2 months of work conflicts to get these, but if we had made excuses like "ugh, haven't gotten my hair done lately" (like me), or "ugh Peyton HAD to fall down on her face the day of the photos," or "Ugh, I need to lose 20 pounds first," then you'll never get those precious photos and you will regret it later.
