All because two people swiped right.

This beautiful wedding took place because Rachel + Brian took the courage to swipe right and after their first date, the rest was history. Rachel grew up going to her mom's beach house in Ocean Isle Beach, so it was only fitting that her and her fiance used this picturesque beach town to start their life together. Despite her and her brother selling the beach house in May of this year, they made a stipulation in the contract, requesting that she could get ready in that same house. This house meant the world to her as her mom had passed away in 2018 so it was a link to someone she dearly missed on this huge day of her life. I loved hearing about all these little sentimental pieces of their wedding day because that's what it is all about.

After the ladies of Alice Lawson Salon got the girls bedazzled, Rachel and the leading ladies of her life took the Carolina Limo trolley over to Brick Landing where Rachel + Brian had their first look and then had formal photos afterward. This allowed us to knock out all the photos before the wedding since daylight ran out at 5pm. We barely snuck in some sunset photos outside of their Ocean Isle Beach Chapel ceremony and they were magical.

The night celebrations were back over at Brick Landing and this magical waterfront property allowed for a wonderful breeze and gorgeous view of the intracoastal waterway. They used the downstairs of the venue for cocktail hour and then had Scotty from Making Memories DJ introduce them to their first dance upstairs in the Waterway View Event Room. The romance oozing from Aerosmith's "Don't Want To Miss A Thing" had even the wedding guest couples holding hands while they watched Rachel + Brian dance in harmony. After the guests ate, the enigmatic Breakfast Club band kickstarted their amazing evening with crowdpleasers that sent the guests into this contagious vibrant energy. The reception hall was blanketed in the most beautiful florals by Eco Chic Blossoms. I could smell the roses the moment I walked into the room. They even put some roses on the GORGEOUS three tier cake from Publix with secret funfetti inside. My favorite detail of the night might be the constant flow of food from Art Catering of Rosemary Scofield. Between the passed heavy hors d'oeuvres during cocktails, a brisket, chicken and crab cake slider bar, a taco bar, roast prime beef AND late night cheese biscuits, they kept the bellies full and the room smelling like comfort food all night long.

Rachel + Brian's coordinator, Kaisey Wilkinson of Chad Biggs Events tended to every detail of the day leaving no stone unturned. She would even touch up the ladies' hair during the reception with bobby pins and put their extra food on the trolley for their ride home!

Rachel + Brian ended their fairytale evening with a bubble exit before riding home with their guests on the trolley (love that they didn't want to end the night by themselves). They left yesterday for their Jamaican honeymoon but we wanted to share some sneak peeks of their sweet day on November 12th. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Barber! My associate Brittany and I adored celebrating your love. Thank you for having us!
